03/02/2026 Job Description: The RN in the Psych unit is responsible
for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to
established treatment protocols. The position involves working with
patients of varying ages with common diagnoses such as depression
and anxiety, as well as handling situations involving substance
abuse and other behavioral disorders. The role requires the nurse
to engage in patient rounds and actively participate in the patient
care process. Responsibilities: Provide acute inpatient care for
adult and adolescent patients. Engage in patient rounds and assist
with immediate patient needs. Work collaboratively with mental
health techs/aids and occupational therapy staff. Participate in
de-escalation practices when necessary. Requirements: Experience in
acute/inpatient or state hospital settings. Strong communication
and de-escalation skills. Required certifications: BLS and CHI
Health Workplace Violence Prevention. Preferable experience working
