Registered Nurse - Med/Tele PCU Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Start Date: 03-02-2026 End Date: 06-01-2026 Contract Type: Travel
Contract Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (days & nights), rotating schedule with
every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday requirements; 7-7
rotation limited and manager may consider blocked schedules Hours
per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour About United Health

do best helping people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide
compassionate, high-quality Med/Tele and PCU-level nursing care to
adult and geriatric patients Continuously monitor telemetry and
interpret ECG strips to detect and respond to arrhythmias Safely
titrate and manage drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin,
Nitro, Nipride and Lasix according to orders Manage patients
following cardiac caths, EP studies and pacer insertions with keen
attention to detail Troubleshoot respiratory equipment (BiPAP,
trachs, Airvo) and collaborate with RT when needed Document care
accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the
interdisciplinary team Serve as a resource for patient safety,
participate in charge/assignment collaboration, and support unit
staffing goals Qualifications Active RN license in North Dakota or
compact-state eligibility BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele or PCU nursing experience (Telemetry
and cardiac experience required) Proven ability to read and
interpret ECG strips and manage titratable drips Comfortable with
PCU-level care, pacer management and basic ventilator
troubleshooting Experience with Epic charting preferred Ability to
work rotating 12-hour shifts and meet every-other-weekend/holiday
requirements Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing
Diploma required; BSN preferred but not required Knowledge & Skills
Telemetry monitoring and ECG/strip interpretation PCU and step-down
cardiac care Drip titration and hemodynamic monitoring Familiarity
with cardiac cath/EP procedures and pacer management Epic
electronic charting Troubleshooting BiPAP, trachs and basic
ventilator issues Strong clinical assessment, prioritization and
communication skills Team-oriented attitude and ability to float
