Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Location: Bismarck, ND Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $81 per hour Shift Information: Nights Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Location: Bismarck, North Dakota Start Date: 02-16-2026 End Date: 05-18-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day) and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night); rotational schedule including every third weekend and holidays as needed (block scheduling, schedule posted 6 weeks in advance) Hours per Week: 36 Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour About United Health Care Staffing At United Health Care Staffing (UHC Staffing), we believe healthcare staffing should be more than just finding a job. Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care for mothers and newborns Monitor fetal and maternal status using GE/Corometrics EFM systems and EPIC charting Triaging patients in the 3-bay triage area and making collaborative care decisions Titrate and manage drips such as Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and occasional insulin per unit protocols Assist and scrub in C-sections and other obstetric procedures when needed Collaborate with OB, neonatology, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe deliveries Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge planning Act as a dependable team member during transfers or floating assignments to NICU, med/surg, PCU, ICU, ED or psych as required Qualifications Current RN license eligible to practice in North Dakota Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery (LDRP) nursing experience Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP (STABLE preferred) Proven EPIC charting experience Comfortable titrating drips and responding to obstetric emergencies Able to scrub for C-sections and assist in the OR when called upon Willingness to work rotational 12-hour shifts and every-third-weekend schedule Able to complete unit-specific orientation (2x12hr shifts) and meet facility RTO/radius requirements Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred but not required Active RN license in good standing Knowledge & Skills Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and AWHONN-guided ratio familiarity Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records Experience with GE/Corometrics fetal monitoring systems Skilled at triage assessment and prioritization in labor and delivery settings Medication management for obstetric care including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin and hemorrhage protocols Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including OB, neonatology and anesthesia Comfortable using telemetry and placing monitor patches correctly when needed Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel reimbursement to make your move easy Medical, dental, and vision options so you can stay healthy and focused Licensure assistance and reimbursement to keep you credentialed and mobile Paid time off to rest, recharge, and enjoy the local scene 401K retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future Professional development and training — EPIC support and unit-specific orientation included A supportive team environment where your experience and voice matter Flexible scheduling and optional overtime opportunities to fit your life Travel Perks: Explore Bismarck, North Dakota Bismarck offers plenty to explore on your days off: stroll the scenic Missouri River and riverside trails, visit the North Dakota State Capitol and the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum, step back in time at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, check out local dining and breweries downtown, and wander the Dakota Zoo.
