BLS Certification Must-Have: Must not have worked for this
organization within the last 6 months. Must be willing to float to
endocrinology, infectious disease, and wound care. Description:
This position requires a registered nurse for an ambulatory
outpatient setting. The nurse will be responsible for rooming
patients and responding to patient messages. The nurse will answer
patient phone calls and complete prior authorizations.
Administering medications, including vaccinations, is a key
responsibility. The nurse will refill medications as needed.
Coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, and
triage are crucial tasks. Various nursing interventions will be
performed as needed. Collaboration with inter-professional
colleagues, including physicians, is essential. The nurse will
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Demonstrating
competency and practicing within the full scope of nursing
expertise is expected. The nurse will utilize appropriate age and
population-specific standards as designated in the clinical
setting. The role functions within the scopes and standards of
nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and
applicable Administrative Rules. Familiarity with EPIC charting is
required. The work environment includes an ambulatory unit with a
busy outpatient practice. There are 2 full-time physicians and 2
nurse practitioners on staff. Nurse orientation will be conducted
alongside other clinic nurses. Blue scrubs are required for this
