Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and dedicated
Nursing Manager to oversee nursing staff and ensure the highest
quality of care is delivered in our facility. As a leader in
healthcare serving underserved communities, we prioritize holistic
health and wellness. The Nursing Manager will play a critical role
in managing our nursing operations, developing nursing staff, and
implementing healthcare programs that align with our mission of
comprehensive and accessible healthcare services. Oversee daily
operations of the nursing department and ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Manage, recruit, and train
nursing staff while promoting a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement. Develop and implement nursing policies and
procedures that reflect the latest healthcare practices and our
commitment to patient-centered care. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care approaches that
promote patient health and wellness. Monitor patient care for
quality and efficacy, identifying potential areas for improvement
and initiating appropriate changes. Manage budgeting and resource
allocation for the nursing department to ensure optimal
functioning. Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and
outcomes, especially focusing on underserved populations.
Leadership and management skills Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Expertise in clinical practices and
regulations in healthcare Ability to strategize and implement
policy changes Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical

Current registered nurse (RN) license. Certification in nursing
administration or leadership, such as a Nurse Executive (NE-BC) or
Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) certification, is preferred.
