registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience is
needed to provide expert circulating nursing care in a Level 2
Trauma Center environment. This role involves ensuring patient
safety and delivering excellent perioperative care in accordance
with AORN standards. Operating under the direction of surgical
leadership, you will support surgical teams by assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating patient care throughout the surgical
process. Location: Velva, ND offers a small-town atmosphere with
proximity to larger urban centers, making it ideal for those

amenities and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities: Serve as a
circulating nurse in the operating room during pre-op, intra-op,
and post-op phases Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout
surgical procedures Adhere strictly to asepsis and infection
control standards Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to
ensure seamless workflow Utilize Cerner electronic medical records
to document care and coordinate patient management Participate in
call schedules approximately one day per week and select weekends
every six weeks Qualifications and Experience: Current or temporary
RN license in North Dakota or compact RN licensure BLS
certification (to be obtained within orientation) Preferred: CNOR
certification (not required) Minimum two years of experience in
operating room nursing, ideally in a Level 2 trauma setting
Proficient in asepsis and infection control principles Strong
judgment skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Prior experience with Cerner electronic medical records Travel
nursing experience preferred Schedule: Shift options include early
mornings to evenings (0545-1415, 0600-1430, 0830-1700, 1300-2130)
