About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health
to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Bismarck, North Dakota,
58501! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 Hours Straight Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum,
and Gyn License: Active nursing license Certifications: CPR/BLS,
ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Willingness to float to Neonatal nursery and
NICU Description: Must note in submission if the clinician has ever
worked for the specified health system. If the clinician previously
worked with the specified health system, they must have an end date
6 months prior to submission. All clinicians must badge in and out.
Scrubs to be worn are Navy Blue. Local travelers with permanent
addresses within 80 miles are not accepted. Required skills include
care of the Labor and Delivery patient and nursing care during
delivery. This includes care for high-risk patients. Postpartum
care for mothers and babies, as well as Gyn surgical postoperative
care, is included. Equipment utilized includes fetal monitors,
suction, oxygen, vital signs monitors, and documented via specified
electronic systems. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 for Labor
and Delivery, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, and 4 for Gyns. The
combination of mom/babies and Gyn patients will have a ratio of
1:5-6. Floating to other units/departments is required, involving
helping hands in the Neonatal nursery and NICU. Candidates should
be willing to work nights and some days, and weekends are required.
Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation up to 12 hours
