Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician Job Details: • Work 40 hours per week in a 5x8 day shift schedule • Recent travel experience required • Locals not accepted - 50 mile radius rule applies • Cerner experience strongly preferred • Must be ARRT or NMTCB registered or registry pending • NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license required • Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist required • Must have working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures • Ability to start IVs for contrast administration required • Perform Nuclear Medicine studies and prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals • Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment • Follow radiation safety techniques in receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive material • Organize daily work to ensure smooth workflow and prompt exam performance • Handle mostly "Garden Variety" imaging procedures • Experience with stress tests, HIDA, bone scans, and PET/CT helpful but not required • Must be able to adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment Facility: This healthcare organization is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced nuclear medicine services and diagnostic imaging capabilities.
