Qualifications - American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty - A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible Overview CHI St. Alexius Healthis seeking a BC/BEAnesthesiologist to join our team in Bismarck, ND. This 225 bed Level II Trauma center provides comprehensive care to the Bismarck/Mandan area and serves as a regional referral center. It has a 14-bed closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist coverage and round the clock Hospitalist service. Practice Details: - MDA fellowship is not required - Anesthesia team is comprised of 6.4 full-time and 2 PRN physicians as well as 17 CRNAs - Coverage of one hospital - Broad case mix: Cardiothoracic, Pediatric, General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Neuro, etc - Surgical suites, endoscopy suite, cardiac cath labs, PACU, EP lab - Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs (exceptbypass cases) - Physicians sit cardiac cases (TEE comfortabilitya must) and run labor epidural service - EPIC EMR - Group prides itself on fair and equitable schedules, vacation, pay, call, and case-mix distribution - Wide variety of specialtyprocedures, with a high volume of CV cases - 1:6 Call with post-call day off - Great leadership and committee opportunities available facility-wide - Generous Compensation - Executive CORE Benefits Package: Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, Retirement, Vacation - Additional Benefits: Malpractice with tail coverage, CME allowance, and Relocation Services About CHI St. Alexius Health CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.
