Facility: 7th & Thayer Clinic Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign-on bonus! Monday-Friday 8-hour day shifts between 7:30am-5:00pm No evenings, weekends, or holidays! Main responsibility is phlebotomy and will help room patients during downtime. Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents; explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
