Join the lab team in providing exceptional patient care and gain valuable medical skills while playing a critical part in our patients’ diagnoses. Part-time clinic 6 hour shifts Monday-Thursday between 6:45am-5:00pm * Every 3rd weekend hospital shift 5:00am-1:30pm Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients * Maintain appropriate supplies inventory * Charting blood draws Laboratory Assistant = no previous experience needed Senior Laboratory Assistant = requires active phlebotomy certification Pathology Technician = requires bachelor's degree in biology or related subject Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
