  • Job Description: Respiratory Therapy position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center
  • Types of patients: Neonatal to geriatrics, including Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac
  • Areas covered: All areas throughout the facility
  • RT Equipment used: Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60 Respironics
    • Job Requirements
    • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT ND state lic
    • Must have NICU experience
    • No clinical involvement
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 0600-1830, 1800-0630
      • Weekend Requirements: Rotating every third weekend
      • Holiday Requirements: Every third holiday
      • Unit/department specific orientation: 3-12 hour shifts
        • Additional Details
        • RTs are respected by all other disciplines, staff is friendly
        • Attributes for success: ability to work independently, make clinical judgments, and work closely with physicians
        • Radius Rule: 50 miles; candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
        • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract); additional RTO will not be approved
