**Responsibilities**
CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Full Time Excercise Physiologist to help support our occupational medicine provider in our clinic.
Effectively provides exercise physiology services.The direct support role of this position is to perform standard intake procedures for such activities as DOT physicals, pre-employment physicals, and work injury management or other duties requested by the provider.
In addition this position provides regulatory screens such as drug screens, breath alcohol, spirometry, and audiometric screens.
Works with others and carries out duties consistent with the mission, vision and values of St. Alexius Medical Center.
**What You'll Do**
1. Provides exercise physiology services to inpatient and outpatients as well as clients and contracted participants of the Occupational Health and Wellness program.
2. Provides personnel support to other departments in the provision of health and wellness screenings and services including Cardiac Rehab, Fitness, Acceleration and therapy services.
3. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely fashion.
4. Completes all billing in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
5. Provides leadership and guidance in areas such as competency development and maintenance, performance improvement, customer satisfaction, and program development
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology with a preferred defined curriculum in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
+ Certification in Federal DOT drug testing, Breath Alcohol Testing, Spirometry, Audiology, and knowledge in various consortium driven functional capacity evaluation methodologies
+ Preferred experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting Cardiac Rehab or Occupational Medicine or in personal training.
+ Preferred ACSM Certified exercise Physiologist or ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist.
**Pay Range**
