ROLE SUMMARYThe purpose of the Pfizer Digital, Acquisitions, Collaborations & Divestitures (Digital ACD) team is to support the Pfizer Digital activities which enable Pfizer to achieve acquisition, collaboration, divestiture and licensing initiatives. The Digital ACD team continues to mature execution strategy, structure, processes, and tools to enable execution of multiple concurrent ACD initiatives. This position is an ACD Transaction Lead responsible for leading all Digital activities related to business development transactions. The role will provide leadership and active management of Digital requirements throughout the transaction lifecycle including ramp up, ongoing support and close-out. The primary focus of this role is to manage a portfolio of medium-sized, moderately complex transactions, R&D acquisitions, divestitures including Plant divestitures, asset or product divestitures and acquisitions. This role actively participates in defining and implementing continuous improvement projects with ACD, streamlining future deal activities and operations.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with WWBD on Due Diligence and new transaction stand up
  • Identify stakeholders across Digital and create transaction program team
  • Identify and engage all stakeholders in each domain per transaction
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional project plan, manage all milestones execution
  • Ensure Pfizer IP is secured and transitioned appropriately to Pfizer
  • Manage, maintain, and report on transaction budget
  • Complete all program closeout activities ensuring appropriate migration, archival of IP and documentation.
  • Develop Executive updates and presentations and enable communication with all domain business and Digital stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with vendors providing resources to support Digital ACD's portfolio of work. Maintain accountability for timely on/offboarding of consulting resources and associated budgets
  • Manage external consultants, preferred contractors, and other resources, leading via influence where required
  • Develop constructive stakeholder management plan across Pfizer Digital and other business transaction leads, to ensure overall efficiencies and goals are achieved
  • Work closely with Business Development, Strategic Alliances, PGS Strategic Management, Functional Support Lines, and other key business stakeholders in Pfizer to understand contractual and agreed obligations for each transaction
  • Work closely with Business users to facilitate the transfer and integration of data between Pfizer and third parties.
  • Facilitate work efforts across a matrix organization of service and solution providers from all Digital organizations, including Business Lines and Infrastructure teams in support of all ACD activities
  • Work closely with the ACD Domain Leads to ensure efficient execution of activities supporting active programs
  • Utilize ACD Playbooks to facilitate ACD work across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Effectively managing risks, issues, and escalationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • 7+ years of experience in IT and the Pharmaceutical industry
    • BS/BA in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Sciences, or related field
    • Experience in acquisition, collaboration, and divestiture activities
    • Experience and solid understanding of budgeting and financial management processes
    • Training and experience in project management (PMP), change management, continuous improvement methodologies and creative problem solving/innovation frameworks highly desired
    • Influencing skills with teams and negotiation skills with vendors. Ability to work in matrixed environment and leading via influence
    • Strong facilitation, negotiating and presentation skills. Able to work with all levels in the organization (technical teams through Senior Leadership)
