Field Technician to join our growing team to undertake a

Essential Job Duties: The Field Technician I will work on
assignments involving field activities, data collection, and
problem solving. The job responsibilities include working as an
individual or as part of a team to assist with any of the following
tasks: emergency response assistance working with hazardous and
non-hazardous materials assistance with the collection of air,
groundwater and soil environmental samples machine operation of
various equipment driving and hauling heavy equipment Installation,
maintenance, and operation of remedial systems. Construction,
Demolition, Excavation, and Industrial Cleaning field services
Other duties as assigned. Competencies: Strong communication and
interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with
internal project teams and clients. Strong technical writing
skills, including an attention to detail, accuracy, and
completeness. Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word,
Outlook, and PowerPoint. Flexible working style and willingness to
modify personal schedules to meet deadlines and client needs

Qualifications: High School diploma. College degree or
post-secondary education un an environmental science based
curriculum preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience directly
related to job responsibilities outlined above Experience in a
safety and environmental field Familiarity with environmental and
safety regulations Experience working in an engineering, industrial
or construction workplace, preferred Demonstrated familiarity
working with spreadsheet and word processing software. Ability to
utilize basic computer programs such as Office, Word and Excel.
Valid Commercial driver’s license and driving record Ability to
obtain a DOT health card and potentially a commercial driver’s
license. Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no
supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands ( The physical
demands described here are representative of those that must be met
by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of
this job). Duties include the regular use of computer and phone
systems. Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Climb
ladders or steps where equipment is located, or to perform required
inspections Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and work in conditions
that may feature rough terrain Bend or stoop repeatedly or
continually over time to adjust equipment Work safely without
presenting a direct threat to self or others Ability to obtain a
DOT health card Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses)
is required for this position. Applicants must be able to work in
out-of-office locations that may feature terrain typical of
construction sites and to enter and work within industrial
facilities. An OSHA-mandated physical exam may be required prior to
job placement. Safety training will be provided by Pinnacle.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time
position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday,
8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours in the evenings and weekends work may be
required as job duties demand. Travel: This position requires
frequent travel to various client locations and/or construction
sites. Field work opportunities for this position will include
long-term, out-of-town travel assignments. Travel may involve day
trips within the state or neighboring states, resulting in longer
workdays; and may include extended and/or further travel, resulting
in multiple days and overnight stays. Long distance travel may be
required. Travel expectations – 80-100%.
