We are looking for an individual who wants to be part of a team environment that provides exceptional service to our clients. We have an opening for an Intern within our Civil Engineering Practice Center located in Bismarck, ND. This position will be responsible for supporting engineers and surveyors with day-to-day project related tasks. Our team has multiple projects with both State DOT work and municipal and private clients that interns will be involved with providing on-site inspection and field staff support. The role will be an exciting opportunity to get first hand experience with engineering projects and to get a glimpse of how you will be able to utilize your educational background in the consulting engineering world. Our plan for the summer intern position is for the individual to be involved in wide range of projects ranging from highway design to site engineering to construction observation. Our goal is to provide our candidate with a meaningful internship that provides value to the individual, the company, and our clients. Our hope is that this summer engagement may lead to a long term relationship beneficial to both parties.Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to provide own means of reliable transportation
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc.
• Ability to walk and climb over rough terrain and carry up to 40 poundsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in construction management, site observation, and construction project record keeping
  • Previous experience or coursework in Transportation/Traffic, Survey, or Civil related coursework
