NDDOT Hiring Salary Range: $5,417 / month The Fleet and Motor Pool
Program Manager oversees State Fleet operations by providing
direction, guidance, and training to all state motor pools. This
position manages motor pool operations, the Fleet Focus
(Maintenance) Records Program, credit card and fuel bill processes,
and the vehicle management and disposal process. Manage State Fleet
Operations Serve as the primary point of contact for all State
Fleet motor pool operations-related matters. Direct maintenance and
ensure all daily pool vehicles meet established maintenance and
operational standards. Analyze motor pool needs, determine
appropriate vehicle types for agency use, and adjust fleet
inventory to ensure efficient and economical operations. Coordinate
vehicle assignments, transfers, and operational activities with
operations managers, dispatch supervisors, and motor pool partners,
including contracted university pools and NDDOT district locations.
Develop and communicate policies, monitor reports and program
activity, conduct meetings with users, and oversee related
operational processes including non-fuel credit card purchases.
Manage Fleet Focus Records Program Manage, analyze and research all
credit card receipts with users and vendors. Review and process
agency cost reports, workorder reports, and vouches. Credit Card
and Fuel Bill Management Receive fuel transaction data file by PC
from fuel contractor. Review and process date reports for accuracy,
detailed information and appropriate rental groups. Complete review
of all aspects of complex report, recommend to state fleet director
final payment amount. Negotiate and resolve disputes with fuel
contractor. Manage, analyze and research all credit card issues
with users and vendors. Manage the Driver ID program. Vehicle
Management and Disposal Process Make recommendations to retain,
repair, or dispose of vehicles. Coordinate with manager and
districts when vehicles need to be moved to other locations for
reassignment or sale. Minimum Qualifications Six years of duties at
a level of responsibility that would prepare an individual to
perform the position duties. Work experience must include lead work
or supervisor responsibilities with a large administrative support
function. College-level course work in business administration,
finance, or other field directly related to work to be performed,
may substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year
basis. Requires satisfactory completion of the interview process
and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous
